Everyone knows that Alabama is a disaster area.  With the recent tornado that ripped through miles of homes and building, it has left the people here in literal ruins.  That is sheds that are destroyed entrapping vehicles underneath, cars completely thrown to another side of town, roofs completely gone, churches destroyed, and lives left in the chaos.  Seeing the disaster area first hand makes you wonder how your life would be if this happened to you.  How would you rebuild?  Would you be able?  One elderly couple by the name of Elaine and Edward could not.  Edward was in a car accident over a year ago and is unable to do just about anything.  His wife doesn't know much about construction and even if she did she couldn't physically do it.  AIM members were able to put a new roof on their home and clean up their yard, and put new tar paper on the side of their walls.  Currently we have plans to put in an indoor bathroom.  Elaine's whole life she has had to use an outhouse.  We want to provide her with something to make her life easier.  Edward's physical condition keeps him from doing what his heart says to work.  We've had the privilege of being able to pray for healing in his life.  Although his physical conditions have not yet changed, we know that God is going to honor our prayers and heal Edward completely.  We believe he will be healed by the supernatural power of God.

I hope these pictures stir something in your heart to pray for Edward and his wife as well as the people in Alabama.  Maybe even to the point of coming here to meet them yourself.  God bless you.
