Our team of 35 went up to Geraldine, where Jacqui and Jonathan Roberts live.   They cook for our teams, and are a huge resource as they know people, places and where to get things.  They moved into their home in March.  They have been reaching into their community to get to know people and share the love of Jesus with them.  Our team was able to advance their influence for the kingdom in their town by helping people. 

We had teams going out to power wash siding, cut down limbs and trees, plant rose bushes, plant at the library, and wash windows and tear down a burned out house, 

At the Roberts home, the gas line was restored, the garage was cleaned out and organized, and the wiring was updated inside.  The gas engines were tuned up, the yard mowed, the weeds wacked, some weeding done in the garden. While doing all these helpful jobs, we visited with people.  Some came to join us for a hamburger cookout.

Katie and Chris, from LivingStone ministries were with us.  They shared about their ministry.  They planted a church in Fort Payne 2 years ago.  It grew out of their living room, into a rented space.  They outgrew that space.  Saturday niight at 11:30pm they signed for the next space.  It's and enormous warehouse.   They were so glad for a team willing to help build up a sanctuary inside the warehouse.

So we built relationships, met felt needs, and shared our faith.  Praise the Lord
