Kelly from DCI took Miss Carol a basket of food for Thanksgiving in conjunction with Katie and Chris Patterson's food ministry. Kelly kept up with Miss Carol. When she learned a team was coming in, Kelly asked if the team would be able to spend some time helping Miss Carol. She had a wheelchair ramp in bad repair, and a yard with unwanted trash. Our team attacked the yard with clippers and chain saws to take down the overgrown areas. They filled many trash bags and a large dump truck. Jim and Richard did a makeover on the wheel chair ramp. Some rocks and bricks were used to fashion some landscaping. The peach trees, which were in blossom and looking so pretty- were now the first thing Miss Carol would see when she looked out.
Claire and Stephanie went in to pray over Miss Carol. Kelly brought us lunch, and her 2 kids, Amber and Brody helped the team.
What joy we had as we shared Christ's love with Miss Carol.
