Today is Friday, the group left to head back to Connecticut early this morning and I got to enjoy a nice drive through the open country back towards Atlanta to catch my flight home tomorrow. Today is also Miss Carol’s birthday! So; last night we threw her a birthday barbecue at the park. It was a great way to end the week and celebrate miss carol’s birthday; as well as the things God had let us be a part of. A family from the community came to join us and share their testimony of how God had provided for them and spared their lives in the thick of the tornado. It was truly an inspiring story of God’s miraculous power to cover us in even the heaviest of stormy situations.
